GENERAL EVENT FAQs
Q: Is the festival suitable for children?
A: Yes, this is a family-friendly event, however please drink responsibly and keep children with you at all times.
Q: Is there disabled parking/disabled loos and is the venue wheelchair-friendly?
A: Yes there is disabled parking near the main music area entrance, disabled toilets, and although a little bumpy in places, the venue is generally wheelchair-friendly.
Q: Will I need proof of my disability?
A: If your disability is not obvious, then a DLA letter, PIP, Access Card, Attendance Allowance, or letter from your health professional may be requested on entry.
Q: Is there an ATM on site?
A: No, there is no ATM on site and the nearest cashpoint is in Birchington town centre, a 5 minute drive or 20 min walk away. Most traders will accept card payments but it is a good idea to bring some cash for those that do not have card facilities. The bar and food providers generally accept card payments.
Q: Can I bring my own food and drinks to the event?
A: If you are camping you are free to bring your own food and drink to the camping area. No food or drink however is allowed within the main music event area and all bags/jackets will be searched by our security team. Baby food and foods for special diets are exempt.
Q: What food will be available in the main music event area?
A: There will be a range of hot food vendors offering everything from traditional hot food such as burgers and hot dogs, to freshly-made Indian and Greek food traders also. There will be vegetarian options as well as gluten-free ones.
Q: What about water in the music event area?
A: You are permitted to bring in one 500ml sealed bottle of water per person. Please note this can only be refilled in the camping area at the water point. No glass is permitted within the music event area.
Q: Can I bring my dog to the event or the campsite?
A: Only registered assistance dogs will be permitted inside the main event space.
While we respect the benefits of therapy and emotional support animals, our event environment is not suitable due to high noise levels, large crowds, and safety considerations.
Q: Can we bring camping chairs to the main music area?
A: Yes, single camping-style chairs are welcome in the designated areas (these will need to be removed from their sleeve in order that our security team may check them) however we do not recommend picnic blankets, as when busy, experience tells us that foot traffic often means these are trodden on. Security may asked you to move should your chairs be blocking walkways, access points or emergency service access routes.
Q: Can I leave my car at the venue overnight and collect the next day?
A: Yes, cars can be left overnight and collected the next day provided they are collected by 1pm at the latest. Campervans and Motorhomes CANNOT be left overnight in the main car park.
